RAISING AWARENESS Why MNDA?
RAISING AWARENESSWhy MNDA?
ISG want to show our support by raising awareness of The Motor Neurone Disease Association and the amazing work that they do to help people living with MND.
The MND Association focuses on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland
"We'll be alright"
Many people find ways to support charities and everyone has their individual story that has led them to have the passion and drive to set up ways to raise money.
One person is Lauren who created "We'll be alright" - MNDA in memory of her mum Carol, who lost the battle with Motor Neurone Disease.
Using her Mums own words and handwriting, Lauren has created a Facebook market place where she handmakes and sells printed t-shirts where all profits are sent to the MNDA.
Visit Laurens page to learn a little more about "We'll be alright" - MNDA and show some support.
Upcoming event: Arnside to Grange Cross Bay Walk
August presents itself to host itself to our next annual fundraising event.
Taking part in the Cross Bay Walk is not only an exceptional way to enjoy the stunning beauty of Morecambe Bay but also help raise awareness of MNDA.
Crossing the sands with an experienced and knowledgeable guide is the only way to traverse the ever-changing flats and channels, and this amazing experience is a must for visitors to the area.
People have been crossing the sands with a royally-appointed guide since the 1500s, so come and enjoy this historic walk with us and immerse yourself in Morecambe Bay’s unique scenery and wildlife.
On 7th August this year, we would like to dust off our walking boots once again, this time taking part in the Arnside to Grange cross bay walk. Here, a small family group will cross the bay walking 8 miles in approximately 3.5 hours with a local guide.
